Any nonsense

MGMT’s have new album.

Musical duo MGMT’s sophomore album, Congratulations, will have its North American release on April 13th. MGMT is coming off of their grammy nominated debut album, Oracular Spectacular which was released back in 2008. On Congratualations, MGMT members Andrew Vanwyngarden and Ben Goldwasser work with influences co-producer Sonic Boom (Pete Kember) and Royal Trux front-woman Jennifer Herrema. Congratulations is a collection of nine individual musical tours de force sequenced to flow with sonic and thematic coherence: “It’s Working,” “Song for Dan Treacy,” “Someone’s Missing,” “Flash Delirium,” “I Found a Whistle,” “Siberian Breaks,” “Brian Eno,” “Lady Dada’s Nightmare,” and “Congratulations.” According to Spin magazine, the Broklyn duo promise that Congratulations will be a more complete album. The lyrics are out of this world and the music is something you can dance to. What more can fans ask for? For all the big MGMT fans out there, MGMT is confirmed to appear at the 2010 Coachella and Bamboozle festivals, so mark your calenders. Pre-order for the album is available here.
